Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 02 days
This product is very good because it combines 02 programs: Sacred Valley of the Incas + Machu Picchu allows you to discover the scenic beauty and cultural legacy that we inherited from the Incas.
We will have the opportunity to spend a night in the wonderful town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) and visit the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu with a Professional Guide.
Day 1: Cusco – Sacred Valley Tour.
06:40 – 07:00 hrs.: In this period of time we will pick you up from your hotel in the center of Cusco and then go to the great sacred valley of the Incas.
Chinchero: One of the few places where it seems that time does not pass, since the traditions and the Inca culture still persist.
Moray: Mysterious Inca archaeological site made up of platforms in the form of an amphitheater for agricultural experimentation.
Salineras-Maras: Impressive salt wells where more than 4,500 wells are observed and that are exploited from the Inca period to the present day.
Urubamba: We will have a buffet lunch (included in our service).
Ollantaytambo: continuously inhabited since Inca times, and climb up the iconic fortress (temple of the sun), built into the side of the mountain.
16:30hrs. or 19:00hrs: After our visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu.
Arriving at approximately 18:10hrs: After arriving in Aguas Calientes, a host from the accommodation will contact you to be able to accompany you until your stay. (Briefing with Guide in charge for the next day)
Day 2: Sightseeing to Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
07:00 am: We will get ready to start our tour.
Once ready and having finished breakfast, we will go to the bus station, there we will take the buses to the great Machu Picchu.
The possible hours of entry to Machu Picchu can be: 07am, 08am or 11am (depending on availability and the weather factor).
They will have a guided tour for 03 hours, taking a tour of the main points such as: the main square, urban sector, the circular tower, the sundial, the Inca cemetery, etc.
Once you have fully enjoyed your visit, the history of the place, the fantastic view and you have recorded everything on your camera, we will start the return from the
great Machu Picchu towards the town of Aguas Calientes. You have 02 options to descend: walking or by bus, the decision will be made there at your
moment. Walking takes about 1 hour. By bus 30min (12USD) Return by bus from Consettur:
YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR FREE TIME IN AGUAS CALIENTES TO VISIT THERMAL BATHS OR PHOTOGRAPH THE TOWN (AT YOUR EXPENSE).
Return from Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco (you can choose your return train)
– Option A – 2:30 p.m. Aguas Calientes train – 4:00 p.m. Ollantaytambo (van) 6:30 p.m. Cusco
– Option B – 7:00 Aguascalientes (train) 8:45 Ollantaytambo (van) 11:00 Cusco.
Upon disembarking from the train in Ollantaytambo, our transfer driver will be in charge of embarking you towards the city of Cusco in a minivan or tourist bus, arriving at Plaza San Francisco
